Cindy Walsh
Aetna – Senior Account Executive
Cindy Walsh joined Aetna Retiree Markets as a National Accounts Senior Account Executive in 2006. Cindy’s has oversight responsibilities for the Mid Atlantic Regions’ Medicare sales from initial group sale through the customer’s renewal. Cindy specializes in both the group auto-enrollment implementations and the second tier marketing and communications of the national accounts option cases to the retirees.
Previously, she was the sales director in Small Group and Individual markets where she was responsible for managing three sales teams and the commercial and Medicare products distribution through the genera agent, broker and direct sales channels.
Cindy joined Aetna in January 2000 as the Head of Marketing Communications. She has extensive experience in managing multiple sales and marketing components for all segments, including the customized needs of national accounts. Prior to joining Aetna, she worked for Blue Cross for five years as a marketing manager. She also worked for CIGNA as a consultant on national health care reform in 1994. She started her career as a marketing account executive specializing in the health care industry.
