Cheri Vander Biezen oversees Associate Health Services at Nationwide for the company’s 33,000 associates. In this role, she is responsible for the company’s 10 occupational health clinics and 2 fitness centers, as well as support of the integrated health and productivity program, which includes: health screenings, wellness programs, disability and disease management, health education, work life resources and walking programs. She has 31 years of professional experience in the health care industry. Prior to he current role she served as the manager for integrated disability management program at Nationwide. The Health and Productivity program at Nationwide has received more than six awards in the first three years of implementation including the 2009 IBI Health Innovation Award, the American Health Association’s Platinum Fit Friendly Employer award and the 2009 C. Everett Koop National Health Award.
