Jamie Schroder is a cross-cultural global mobility expert with over fifteen years’ expatriate experience in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the United States. In addition to English, she speaks Dutch, Spanish, and Indonesian.
Jamie Schroder has conducted training for Fortune 500 corporations, educating more than 900 individuals in efficient management of worldwide relocation – from Shanghai to Dublin and from Geneva to Perth.
Professional Certifications and Degrees:
Jamie studied at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island. She obtained a Professional Master of Arts in Intercultural Relations, specializing in Expatriate Management, from Antioch University, Ohio.
International Expertise:
Jamie lived and/or worked in the Netherlands, France, Oman, Indonesia, Kenya, Honduras, Canada, Jamaica, and the United States.
Multinational Client Responsibilities:
Jamie has held various positions in support of multinationals, including the most recent as Global Mobility Specialist with overall responsibility for managing customer service, implementing and enhancing new policies, training managers globally on the expatriate relocation process, and being the single point of accountability for answering most questions related to the Alcoa expatriate program.
In addition, she has been an International Assignment Manager, Global Team Manager, and Project Manager. She consistently managed and supported hundreds of expatriate relocations annually, receiving several service excellence awards related to enhanced client and customer relations.
