Da'Rel Eastling is Vice President, Distribution for the Secure Retirement Solutions group at Prudential Retirement. Da'Rel is responsible for executing a regional distribution strategy for the Retirement Income solutions offered by Prudential, focusing primarily on third party ( Investment Only) defined contribution plans in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. Da'Rel's responsibilities also include serving as the subject matter expert on Prudential's Institutional Income products for the Sales and Relationship Management groups working with our prospective and current defined contribution clients.
Prior to accepting this role, Da'Rel held the position of Associate Director, Retirement Income Distribution. In that role, he was charged with developing in-force distribution and training initiatives for the Secure Retirement Solutions group, helping retirement plan sponsors deliver efficient lifetime income vehicles to their employees. He also served as point person in pulling together the teams responsible for helping Prudential's in-force clients add IncomeFlex to their plan and worked directly with Full Service Sales Directors, Relationship Managers and Client Consultants on strategy and implementation. Da'Rel previously held positions within the Defined Benefits Operations organization, in which he was responsible for servicing several of Prudential's large clients.
Prior to working for Prudential Retirement, Da'Rel was a member of CIGNA's Corporate Owned Life Insurance unit, where he was responsible for maintaining relationships with some of their larger corporate clients.
Da'Rel received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from University of Hartford, in West Hartford, CT. He holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, in addition to a Life with Accident and Health qualifications.
