Session Description

"Performance & Behavior Leadership, The Moment of Truth: Can Leaders Handle the Truth?"

There are many steps for creating performance excellence: developing the right hiring practices, training people in the skills they need, creating effective reward systems, etc. But one essential step makes all others work: The Leader’s Moment of Truth (LMOT) The LMOT is an event in which the leader has a choice: either ignore what as occurred, or call attention to it.

This presentation will provide Leaders insight regarding the value of telling people in your organization the truth about their performance and behavior. The truth creates the foundation for correcting mistakes; learning from past performance and better understanding the reality of your current situation. The truth can also have a significant impact on enhancing productivity within your organization and improving the bottom line. When leaders understand and use the LMOT leadership principles, they can add anywhere from 25 to 40 percent more actual capacity to their organizations without adding additional costs.

This presentation will examine a variety of techniques that leaders can adopt to implement the LMOT process.
