Organizational risk management is an essential part of an HR function. HR must be involved in strategic planning related to safety. In addition HR is often responsible for monitoring safety and disaster recovery functions. Finally, HR’s role in training, workplace staffing, performance management and total rewards requires an up-to-date knowledge of safety issues to ensure all employees participate in Risk Management efforts. This session will provide you with an overview of safety and risk management and its impact on the bottom-line. Concepts covered in this program include Risk Management components in the HRCI certification tests.
