CommuteInfo

Human resource professionals provide many important services, including serving as a link to resources. CommuteInfo is a local resource some of your employees may be interested in learning more about. And we know that with the price of gas, and employee’s commuting distances growing, your employees may be interested in this now more than ever. As a non-profit program, CommuteInfo provides services to assist you and your employees - - we are not a for-profit company or consultants with whom you need to contract.
The CommuteInfo program is designed to increase the number of people who travel to work or school by riding transit, carpooling, vanpooling, or bikepooling. The goal is for commuters living, working or attending school within the 10-county region (Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland counties) to choose ridesharing at least twice a week. CommuteInfo is a program of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission, coordinated in partnership with transportation management associations, transportation providers, businesses and non-profit service organizations.
CommuteInfo can provide:
- On-site information sessions to help employees learn more about their commuting options.
- Information about transportation options at annual benefits meetings.
- Answers to requests from employees for information about commuting options.
- Resources regarding the IRS Commuter Choice benefit.
- Articles for your next company newsletter about CommuteInfo.
We would be happy to meet with you to discuss the needs of your employer and employees. Visit our website, www.commuteinfo.org or contact us today to learn more, 1-888-819-6110.
