It's time to begin the first steps of the nominating process for the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association's 2009 Board of Directors. We are asking each chapter member to consider and nominate those individuals you believe would be qualified candidates for the PHRA Board. If you, or someone you know, are interested in a leadership opportunity, please complete the nomination form and submit it to us by Monday, July 21st.
The Board is an active body that not only governs the Association but also makes the strategic decisions concerning PHRA's future. Elected directors serve a three-year tearm. Responsibilities include attendance and participation at Board/committee meetings and PHRA events. You can find more information about the Board of Directors Nominating process along with an overview of the Board responsibilities on the following pages.
If you ever wanted to become involved in the Association's decision-making process and governance, here is a chance to offer your name or that of an interested colleague for consideration. The Nominating Committee will review all submissions and then contact individuals to discuss qualifications and more details. The official ballot with the final slate of Board candidates will be mailed to the membership by October 1st.
