
Carl Jenkins
Carl Jenkins began his Nordstrom career in 1992 as a stockperson in BP. shoes, one of the company’s women’s shoe departments at Nordstrom Mall of America, in Bloomington, MN. After assistant department manager roles in the shoe division, he helped open Nordstrom Beachwood Place in Beachwood, Ohio in 1997 as an assistant department manager in Men’s Shoes. Carl later became a department manager, buyer and a regional merchandiser in the Men’s Shoes division. He was then promoted into store management, first as the assistant store manager of Nordstrom Oakbrook Center in the Chicago area, then as the store manager of the Nordstrom Rack in Oak Brook. For four years Carl managed Nordstrom Circle Centre in Indianapolis. In Indianapolis, he served as a member of the Board on the Indianapolis Downtown, Inc., Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee. As store manager of Nordstrom Ross Park Mall, Carl is responsible for overseeing all operations of the 138,000-square-foot store.
