Diversity and Inclusion—the hot button topic of HR practices today. All companies want to have a diverse workforce and be known for their inclusive environments. Workplace diversity is important but becoming more diverse can be a struggle for some companies. Change is difficult, and many companies often don’t see the value of spending the time and capital for it.
However, the facts speak for themselves. Diverse companies are reported to be more innovative, have better employee retention, and enjoy higher profits, among other benefits. Implementing workplace diversity and inclusion doesn’t have to be a complicated and arduous process.
November 19th, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
In the final session Danielle Mundekis will discuss Navigating a Multi-generational Workforce: The Secret is in the Sauce.
For the first time in modern history, maybe ever there are five generations employed together in the workforce. Each generation in today’s workforce is defined by their experiences and their environment in a way that uniquely and inextricably affects how they function in their place of employment, as well as how they view those with whom they work. During this session, we will look at the broad spectrum environmental and experiential factors that shape each generation and examine ways to use those factors as vehicles to find common ground and provide stability and cohesion within the workforce.
