This session will provide an in-depth overview of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and its critical role in enforcing federal anti-discrimination laws. Participants will gain insights into the protections provided to job applicants and employees under federal law, which prohibit discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, transgender status, and sexual orientation), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, and genetic information.

The session will also explore the proactive benefits of partnering with the EEOC as a mediator in workplace disputes. Attendees will learn how the EEOC’s mediation services can foster a constructive dialogue, mitigate potential legal conflicts, and promote a culture of inclusivity.

This session is essential for HR professionals, business leaders, and legal advisors seeking to create fair and compliant workplaces while navigating the complexities of employment law with support from the EEOC.
